Each of the properties we have suggested has a few wheelchair friendly rooms.

These facilities vary from place to place, some more accessible than others.

Some of the facilities include: wider doors, more room in the bathroom, lowered light switches and mirrors, roll-in showers with fold down seats, grab rails, enough space next to the WC to "park" the wheelchair.

Unfortunately not every hotel and restaurant complies with all the regulations

We encourage travellers to come to South Africa with a sense of adventure, a smile and flexibility – this will ensure a wonderful African experience!
